Finding the right therapeutic fit is a deeply personal step, and I am here to support you on your journey toward clarity, self-acceptance, and meaningful connection.
Whether you are navigating personal growth, relationship dynamics, or life transitions, my goal is to provide a compassionate, affirming space where you feel truly heard and valued.
What I Bring
My passion for therapy began in 2014 during my work with LGBTIQ+ youth at Inside Out Youth Services. That transformative experience solidified my commitment to helping individuals discover, understand, and honor their authentic selves.
I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University, equipping me to support individuals, couples, and families through relational and personal challenges. My clinical experience spans across the lifespan—from children and adolescents to adults—and encompasses a wide variety of relationship structures, including couples, polyamorous dynamics, siblings, families, and groups. I then pursued my Sex Therapy Certification (the effort of a second Masters) and became accredited through AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists). I enjoy supporting the intersection of sexuality and neurodivergence. I believe that pleasure is a human right and that sexuality is a beneficial dimension of being human.
Additionally, my background in health and behavioral psychology and my additional experience utilizing behavioral techniques for individuals across all levels of nuero-functioning informed my work with neurodivergent clients. With specialized experience supporting clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Counseling Philosophy & Approach
I believe that true inner peace and self-acceptance begin when we honor every part of who we are into an authentic whole. By understanding our needs, strengths, and desires we can grow in our skills, confidence, and resiliency. I also believe that humans are fundamentally meaning-makers and that we can accidently adopt and hold meanings that others have forced, suggested, or assumed upon us. Giving ourselves the autonomy and authorship to create our meanings is an incredibly powerful tool towards living the life we want to live.
In our sessions, we will slow down emotional and thought processes to gain deeper insights into your experiences. Together, we can:
Identify and break unhelpful or ineffective patterns and stories
Discover tools and strategies to find workarounds and self-accommodations
Understand the root of your needs, desires, thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
Redefine your personal narrative and cultivate lasting, positive change.
Take the Next Step
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and I want to ensure you feel confident and comfortable in our work together. I offer a half-priced initial session for new clients, giving us an opportunity to discuss your goals, answer any questions, and see if we are a good fit.
