It all started when…

I was profoundly impacted by the LGBTIQ youth during my internship with Inside Out Youth Services in 2014. I knew I wanted to be an aide to individuals gaining a better understanding of their authentic selves. I enrolled as a graduate student at Regis University in a three-year clinical master’s degree for Marriage and Family Therapy in 2015. As a Marriage and Family Therapist I can work with children, adolescents, and adult individuals, as well as a variety of relationships such as couples, polyamorous dynamics, siblings, groups, and families.

Additionally, I have a background in health and behavioral psychology. As an RBT, I have utilized behavioral therapy techniques for individuals across all nuero-functioning and have done in-depth behavioral work with clients who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as Attention Deficit Disorder.

My Counseling Philosophy

I believe one of the first steps to inner peace and acceptance is to integrate all parts of ourselves into an authentic whole. Additionally, slowing down our emotional and thought processes to best understand them and create meaning can provide opportunities to redefine our narrative and break ineffective cycles of interaction.

Setting up an Appointment

I would love the opportunity to speak with you and offer half-priced first sessions for clients seeking psychotherapy. During this time I can answer any additional questions you might have. This also allow you to get a feel for how our sessions would go. Please contact me at savannamanfredonia@gmail.com or 719-453-7473.
